My style is based on natural light and I love to capture genuine emotion and connection. I believe that the clothing you choose for your session is important because it sets the mood and helps to create a unique look. So come as you are or dress up, and I’ll capture your special moments in a timeless and beautiful way.
The first thing to consider.....
When and Where?
Where will your session be held and what time of year will your session be?
Are we going to be set against a golden grassy field, emerald green trees or eye-catching fall colors? Knowing the where of your location will help determine the COLORS you choose. You want your family to stand out from the beautiful scenery while still fitting the feel of the location!
Are you doing a themed session or a regular portrait session?
What is your family's vibe?
How do you want these photos to feel? I’m going to be honest, the clothing you wear makes the BIGGEST difference on the vibe more than the setting. So take a moment and think, “what is the vibe you want to try for?”

In addition to our photography services, we also offer styling and wardrobe assistance. If you’re feeling overwhelmed trying to choose the perfect outfit, we’re here to help and can provide you with examples of different styles that will fit your aesthetic.

I believe in using colors and that layers, textures, patterns, and tones can be mixed together to create what I call “family personality”
But I think it’s important for me to say first, that my style is always going to veer toward the earthy, cheerful, colorful, and unique direction. If this is not your family vibe feel free to take these tips and evaluate your own vibe. These closets can be simply the starting place for some families and should be used to supplement what you already have. So maybe you have a favorite dress but you wonder what color or pattern may work? Well these closets are to give inspiration according to a few of my favorite session locations!
I like choosing one patterned outfit and picking colors from it to dress everyone else it!
